Does the Anthem STR include a power amplifier?
No. The STR is a dedicated stereo preamplifier and requires an external power amplifier such as the Anthem STR Power Amplifier, Statement P2 or another compatible stereo amplifier.
Can I connect both MM and MC turntables?
Yes. The STR includes separate moving-magnet and moving-coil phono inputs. The MM stage is also suitable for compatible high-output moving-coil cartridges.
Can ARC Genesis be bypassed for analog sources?
Yes. Setting Convert Analog to No bypasses the A/D conversion and digital processing path, leaving the analog source in a direct signal path with level control.
Can the STR work with a home theater processor?
Yes. Home Theater Bypass allows a compatible surround processor to share the main left/right amplification and subwoofer system with the STR-based stereo setup.
