The Anthem STR Integrated Amplifier combines a powerful high-current stereo amplifier, premium preamplifier, sophisticated DAC and Anthem Room Correction in one reference-quality two-channel component. Delivering 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 400 watts into 4 ohms and 550 watts into 2 ohms, the STR provides substantial current reserves for demanding bookshelf and floorstanding loudspeakers while preserving the resolution and control expected from a high-end separates system.
Alongside its formidable amplifier section, the STR provides asynchronous USB audio, AES/EBU, coaxial and optical digital inputs, balanced and single-ended analog connectivity, dedicated MM and MC phono stages and advanced bass management for one or two subwoofers. ARC Genesis, Analog Direct and Home Theater Bypass give listeners the flexibility to choose between sophisticated room-optimized playback and a purist analog signal path depending on the source and system.
High-Current Bipolar Output Stage — Eight bipolar output devices per channel and a substantial toroidal power supply provide the current delivery needed for stable performance into low-impedance loudspeakers.
Advanced Load Monitoring — Anthem's proprietary ALM system continuously monitors temperature, current and voltage to protect the output section without compromising normal audio performance.
32-Bit Digital Processing — Lower-resolution digital signals are processed through Anthem's high-resolution conversion platform, while analog sources can be processed internally at 32-bit/192kHz when ARC and bass management are enabled.
Analog Direct & Home Theater Bypass — Analog Direct bypasses A/D conversion and DSP for purist playback, while Home Theater Bypass allows the STR's power amplifier section and main loudspeakers to integrate with a compatible surround processor.

Yes. ARC Genesis is built into the STR platform and supports up to four storable profiles for different listening arrangements or system configurations.
Yes. The STR includes separate moving-magnet and moving-coil phono inputs, allowing compatible cartridges to connect directly without an external phono stage.
No. The STR has Ethernet connectivity for ARC, firmware and control, but Anthem confirms that it does not include Wi-Fi or an internal music-streaming platform. A separate streamer can be connected through its analog or digital inputs.
Turntable, streamer, computer, analog/digital interconnects, speaker cables, loudspeakers and powered subwoofers are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
