Flagship 2-Channel Multi-Mono Power Amplifier • 325W/Ch into 8Ω • 500W/Ch into 4Ω • 675W/Ch into 2Ω • Balanced XLR & RCA Inputs • 14 Bipolar Output Devices Per Channel • Made in Canada
The Anthem P2 Class-AB Stereo Power Amplifier With 325 Watts Per Channel brings Anthem's flagship Statement-series engineering to high-performance two-channel music systems and reference home theaters. Delivering 325 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 500 watts into 4 ohms and 675 watts into 2 ohms, the P2 is engineered to maintain exceptional control, dynamic authority and low distortion with demanding high-end loudspeakers.
Its multi-mono architecture gives each channel an independent amplifier circuit board, heatsink and power supply, helping the P2 behave more like two monoblock amplifiers sharing one chassis than a conventional stereo amplifier. Fourteen high-current bipolar output devices per channel, massive passive heatsinks, balanced XLR connectivity and Anthem's Advanced Load Monitoring provide the foundation for a powerful yet highly refined stereo amplifier.
Independent Multi-Mono Architecture — Each channel receives its own glass-epoxy circuit board, heatsink and independent power supply, providing exceptional isolation and allowing both channels to maintain full rated output simultaneously.
High-Current Class-AB Output Stage — Fourteen bipolar output devices per channel provide substantial current reserves and linear power delivery, allowing the P2 to confidently control difficult loudspeakers across a wide range of impedances.
Advanced Load Monitoring — Anthem's proprietary ALM system monitors operating conditions including temperature, current and voltage to help protect the amplifier while avoiding conventional current-limiting techniques that can compromise performance.
Massive Fanless Thermal Design — Large computer-modeled aluminum heatsinks provide passive cooling without relying on fans, keeping the amplifier quiet enough for dedicated listening rooms and reference theater environments.
The P2 delivers 325 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms, 500 watts per channel into 4 ohms and 675 watts per channel into 2 ohms. Anthem specifies these ratings with either one or both channels driven.
The P2 uses a true multi-mono design in which each channel has its own amplifier circuit board, heatsink and independent power supply. This provides many of the isolation and power-delivery advantages associated with separate monoblock amplifiers.
Yes. Each channel provides balanced XLR and single-ended RCA connectivity. The rear input selector provides RCA, XLR and attenuated XLR settings.
Yes. Although designed as a reference stereo amplifier, the P2 is an excellent choice for powering the front left and right loudspeakers in a high-performance home theater when paired with an Anthem A/V processor or another compatible preamplifier/processor.
Preamplifier or A/V processor, RCA/XLR interconnects, speaker cables and loudspeakers are sold separately unless otherwise specified. At 75 lbs. and up to 1800 watts of maximum power consumption, proper equipment support, ventilation and electrical planning are recommended.
