The Anthem MRX 1140 8K 15.2 Pre-Amplifier / 11 Amplifier Channel A/V Receiver is designed as the control and power center of an advanced home theater system. It combines processing for up to 15.2 channels with eleven internal amplifier channels, allowing a complete 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos system to be powered directly while retaining additional preamplifier channels for system expansion with external amplification.
Seven HDMI 2.1 inputs support 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video, while Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced decoding deliver precise three-dimensional audio placement. Anthem’s ARC Genesis room-correction platform, high-resolution 32-bit/768kHz DACs, flexible amplifier assignment and extensive control integration make the MRX 1140 8K equally suited to dedicated theaters, media rooms and high-performance music systems.
ARC Genesis Room Correction — Anthem Room Correction uses a calibrated microphone and advanced software to measure the acoustic behavior of the room and connected loudspeakers. ARC Genesis can create and store up to four speaker profiles with independent speaker layouts, bass management, levels and correction settings.
15.2-Channel Object-Based Audio Processing — The Anthem MRX 1140 8K supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced soundtracks. Its processing platform can accommodate conventional surround, front-wide and up to six height-channel speakers when supplemented with appropriate external amplification.
32-Bit/768kHz Digital Conversion — High-resolution DACs process incoming digital audio with precise timing and low noise. The circuit platform is engineered to preserve detail, dynamic contrast and spatial information across movie soundtracks, multichannel music and two-channel playback.
HDMI 2.1 Video Platform — Seven dedicated HDMI inputs handle modern video formats including 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz pass-through. Features such as VRR and ALLM support responsive gaming, while eARC allows compatible televisions to return high-resolution audio through the primary HDMI output.
Yes. The Anthem MRX 1140 8K includes eleven internal amplifier channels and is configured by default to power a 7.1.4 main-zone speaker system.
The additional preamplifier channels allow larger configurations using external power amplifiers. This provides flexibility for systems with front-wide speakers, six height channels or upgraded amplification for the main speakers.
Yes. ARC Genesis software and a calibrated measurement microphone are included. ARC can optimize speaker response, crossover integration, bass performance and listening-position consistency.
