The Anthem MCA 325 Gen 2 3-Channel Power Amplifier is designed to provide dedicated high-current amplification for the front left, center and right channels of a premium home theater. Delivering 225 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 400 watts into 4 ohms and 600 watts into 2 ohms, the MCA 325 Gen 2 provides the power and dynamic headroom required for demanding loudspeakers and high-output cinema systems.
Anthem's Gen 2 MCA architecture combines a massive low-flux toroidal power supply with a more direct internal signal path, eight bipolar output devices per channel and Advanced Load Monitoring protection. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs provide flexible integration with Anthem AVM processors, compatible MRX receivers and other high-quality preamplifiers, making the MCA 325 Gen 2 especially well suited to upgrading the critical front soundstage.
Advanced Load Monitoring Technology — ALM™ continuously supervises internal temperature, current and voltage. If an abnormal condition occurs, protection engages only as needed and normal operation automatically resumes when safe conditions return.
Massive Low-Flux Toroidal Power Supply — Anthem's custom toroidal transformer is designed to provide high rail voltage and substantial current reserves while minimizing stray magnetic-field radiation and electrical noise.
Eight Bipolar Output Devices Per Channel — Multiple high-current output transistors distribute the electrical and thermal load across more devices, improving reliability while supporting strong performance into low-impedance speakers.
Direct Gen 2 Signal Path — Reduced internal cabling and redesigned circuit layouts shorten the signal path through the amplifier, contributing to improved transparency, bandwidth and low-noise performance.
