Dual-Mono Stereo Preamplifier • Burr-Brown PCM1796 DAC • MM/MC Phono • Selectable Class A & Discrete Output Modes • Balanced XLR • Dual Subwoofer Outputs
The Advance Paris X-P700 Stereo Preamplifier is designed as a flexible control center for high-performance separates systems. Its dual-mono architecture and Direct Path signal philosophy are intended to keep the left and right channels isolated while minimizing unnecessary signal routing. Nine analog inputs, including a balanced XLR connection and MM/MC phono stage, make the X-P700 well suited to systems combining turntables, disc players, streamers and other premium sources.
The X-P700 also incorporates a Burr-Brown PCM1796 24-bit/192kHz DAC with XMOS USB-B connectivity, optical and coaxial digital inputs, plus selectable Class A and Discrete output-stage modes. Balanced XLR and RCA main outputs, a high-pass output, dual subwoofer outputs and extensive headphone controls make it equally capable in conventional stereo, 2.1/2.2 and headphone-based systems.
Direct Path Signal Processing — Advance Paris minimizes unnecessary signal routing to preserve clarity, dynamics and low-level musical detail.
Dual Toroidal Power Supplies — Two high-capacity toroidal transformers feed the filtered and regulated dual-mono power architecture for improved channel isolation.
PCM1796 DAC with XMOS USB — The internal Burr-Brown converter works with optical, coaxial and USB digital sources, while the USB-B input uses an XMOS interface for computer audio.
Advanced Headphone Architecture — Front 6.35mm and 3.5mm headphone outputs include selectable gain and output-impedance settings for better matching with different headphones.
No. The X-P700 is a dedicated stereo preamplifier and must be connected to a separate power amplifier such as the X-A160 EVO, X-A220 EVO or X-A600.
Yes. The built-in phono section supports both MM and MC cartridges, with specified gain settings of 48dB for MM and 64dB for MC.
Yes. It uses a Burr-Brown PCM1796 24-bit/192kHz DAC and provides optical, coaxial and XMOS USB-B digital connectivity.
Yes. The X-P700 provides two subwoofer outputs along with a high-pass output, making it suitable for advanced 2.1 and 2.2 stereo systems.
