The Advance Paris X-CD7 CD Player is designed to extract the musical detail stored in your CD collection while providing the connectivity needed for both traditional and modern Hi-Fi systems. Its internal Wolfson WM8761 digital-to-analog converter feeds both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog outputs, allowing the player to connect directly to an integrated amplifier, preamplifier or other line-level audio component.
Advance Paris places particular emphasis on power-supply quality within the X-CD7. Its power architecture supplies the CD mechanism, laser-control circuitry and digital-to-analog conversion stages while separating the power supply from the DAC board to help preserve clean signal reproduction. Coaxial and optical digital outputs also allow the X-CD7 to operate as a CD transport with an external DAC or compatible digital amplifier.
WM8761 Digital-to-Analog Conversion — The X-CD7 incorporates a Wolfson WM8761 DAC to handle conversion of the CD's digital audio signal before it reaches the player's analog output stage.
Separated Power and DAC Circuitry — Advance Paris separates the power-supply section from the digital-to-analog conversion board, helping reduce interaction between critical internal circuits.
Analog and Digital Output Flexibility — Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections support use of the X-CD7's internal DAC, while 75-ohm coaxial RCA and TOSLINK optical connections provide digital output to an external converter.
Slim Classic-Line Chassis — At only 73mm high, the X-CD7 combines full-width Hi-Fi proportions with a low-profile chassis and acrylic-glass front panel designed to coordinate with other Advance Paris components.
