Reference Monoblock Power Amplifier • 450W RMS into 8Ω • 700W+ into 4Ω • 1,000VA Toroidal Transformer • 120,000µF Power Reserve • High-Bias Class A/AB • Balanced XLR Input
The Advance Paris X-A1200 Mono-Block Power Amplifier is engineered for high-end systems where maximum power, channel isolation and loudspeaker control are priorities. Each X-A1200 powers a single audio channel, eliminating interaction between left- and right-channel power supplies and amplification stages. With 450 watts RMS into 8 ohms and more than 700 watts into 4 ohms, it provides exceptional current capability for large, demanding and low-sensitivity loudspeakers.
At the heart of the X-A1200 is an oversized 1,000VA toroidal transformer paired with two high-current diode bridges and twelve 10,000µF capacitors for a total filtering capacity of 120,000µF. Ten high-current NJW0281G and NJW0302G output transistors provide the power stage, while selectable High-Bias operation allows the amplifier to reproduce its first watts in Class A before progressively transitioning into Class AB as output requirements increase.
Ten High-Current Output Transistors — NJW0281G and NJW0302G bipolar power devices provide the current capability necessary for substantial output into demanding loudspeaker loads.
Oversized Power-Supply Architecture — A 1,000VA toroidal transformer, dual power-diode bridges and 120,000µF of filtering capacity form the foundation for the X-A1200's high-output performance.
Class A / Class AB High-Bias Operation — A rear-panel High-Bias switch increases output-stage bias so the amplifier operates in Class A for its initial watts before transitioning progressively into Class AB.
Compartmentalized Internal Chassis — Separate internal sections improve chassis rigidity and provide additional isolation between critical power-supply and amplification circuits to help minimize interference.
Yes. This listing includes one X-A1200 monoblock amplifier. Because each amplifier powers one channel, two X-A1200 amplifiers are required for a conventional two-channel stereo system.
The X-A1200 delivers 450 watts RMS into an 8-ohm loudspeaker load and more than 700 watts RMS into 4 ohms.
Yes. The amplifier provides both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA input connectivity, allowing it to be paired with a broad range of high-end preamplifiers.
High-Bias mode allows the first watts of amplifier output to operate in Class A. As greater power is required, the amplifier automatically and progressively transitions into Class AB operation.
This listing includes one monoblock amplifier. Two X-A1200 amplifiers are required for a conventional stereo pair. Preamplifier, source components, RCA/XLR interconnects, speaker cable and loudspeakers are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
