Audiophile Bluetooth 5.0 Receiver • aptX HD • Dual Raytheon 5703 Tubes • Class A Tube Output Stage • Wolfson WM8740 24-Bit/192kHz DAC • RCA Analog Output
The Advance Paris WTX-Tubes Bluetooth Receiver combines the convenience of wireless music playback with an unusual audiophile signal path built around vacuum tubes. Bluetooth 5.0 and aptX HD support enable high-quality wireless transmission from compatible smartphones, tablets and computers, while an independent Wolfson WM8740 24-bit/192kHz DAC handles digital-to-analog conversion before the signal reaches the tube-based analog output stage.
Instead of treating Bluetooth as a convenience feature alone, Advance Paris designed the WTX-Tubes to provide a warmer, more natural presentation from wireless sources. Two Raytheon 5703 military-grade subminiature tubes operate within a Class A output design, while tri-core processing combines a 32-bit dual-core processor with a 120MHz single-core processor. The result is a compact Bluetooth source designed to connect directly to an available analog input on a stereo amplifier or preamplifier.
Raytheon 5703 Tube Stage — A pair of military-grade 5703 subminiature tubes is incorporated into the analog output circuit, giving the WTX-Tubes a distinctive architecture compared with conventional solid-state Bluetooth receivers.
Wolfson WM8740 Conversion — The independent Wolfson DAC supports 24-bit/192kHz conversion and is specified with a 117dB dynamic range and low-clock-jitter design.
Tri-Core Signal Processing — A 32-bit dual-core processor works alongside a 120MHz single-core processor to provide the computational performance needed for Bluetooth decoding and audio processing.
Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD — Support for aptX HD enables compatible devices to transmit 24-bit audio, while aptX, AAC and SBC provide broad compatibility across mobile and computer platforms.
Yes. The WTX-Tubes uses two Raytheon 5703 military-grade subminiature vacuum tubes as part of its Class A analog output architecture.
Yes. It supports aptX HD for compatible high-definition Bluetooth sources along with standard aptX, AAC and SBC codecs.
Yes. It incorporates an independent Wolfson WM8740 DAC capable of 24-bit/192kHz digital-to-analog conversion.
Yes. The WTX-Tubes is designed as a standalone Bluetooth receiver with analog output, allowing it to connect to a compatible line-level input on an integrated amplifier, preamplifier or receiver.
Amplifier, preamplifier, source device and analog interconnects are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
