A Wolfson WM8761 DAC handles digital-to-analog conversion, while Raytheon 5744 NOS micro-tubes are used in the analog output section before the signal reaches the balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections.
Designed as the matching digital source for Advance Paris’s APEX electronics, the ACD APEX also provides optical and coaxial digital outputs for use with an external DAC or compatible digital amplifier.
