The Advance Paris A12 Classic High-End Hybrid Integrated Amplifier combines the musical character of tube preamplification with the control and dynamic capability of powerful Class A/B transistor amplification. Its dual-mono architecture uses independent toroidal power transformers for the left and right channels, helping the amplifier deliver 190 watts per channel into 8 ohms with the current reserves needed for demanding bookshelf and floorstanding loudspeakers.
Designed as a comprehensive centerpiece for a high-end stereo system, the A12 Classic accommodates vinyl, analog sources, computers, digital transports and television audio. MM/MC phono capability, balanced XLR inputs, RCA line inputs, USB audio, HDMI ARC, AES/EBU, optical and coaxial digital inputs, dual subwoofer outputs, preamplifier outputs and optional Bluetooth provide extensive flexibility without requiring multiple separate control components.
Dual-Mono Class A/B Amplification — Separate left- and right-channel power supplies reduce interaction between channels and help maintain control during demanding musical passages.
Hybrid Tube Preamplifier Stage — Vacuum tubes are incorporated into the preamplification section before the signal reaches the solid-state power stage, blending tube tonal character with transistor power.
PCM1796 Digital-to-Analog Conversion — The integrated DAC allows compatible digital transports, computers, televisions and other sources to connect directly to the amplifier.
High-Bias Operation — Selectable High-Bias mode increases output-stage bias for more Class A-like operation at lower listening levels before the amplifier transitions into conventional Class A/B operation as power requirements increase.
Yes. The A12 Classic uses tubes in its preamplifier section while the main power-amplifier stage uses high-current transistor amplification.
Yes. The built-in phono section supports compatible moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges and includes a grounding connection for a turntable.
Yes. HDMI ARC allows compatible televisions to send audio directly to the amplifier for playback through the stereo system.
Bluetooth is optional through Advance Paris's dedicated module connection. Compatible options include the X-FTB01 and higher-specification X-FTB02 Bluetooth receivers.
