The Acoustic Energy AE309² Floor-Standing Speakers (Pair) bring technology developed through Acoustic Energy’s flagship CORINIUM project into a slim floorstanding design engineered for medium-to-large listening rooms. Dual 120mm paper and coconut-fiber bass/midrange drivers combine with a newly developed 29mm fabric-dome tweeter to deliver natural tonal balance, impressive dynamics and room-filling scale without requiring an oversized cabinet.
The completely redesigned enclosure uses Acoustic Energy’s 18mm RSC™ constrained-layer MDF/bitumen construction to reduce cabinet radiation and unwanted coloration. A carefully developed rear slot-shaped duct port reinforces low-frequency output while reducing turbulence, helping the AE309² produce clean, controlled bass down to 33Hz while preserving the open, engaging presentation associated with Acoustic Energy loudspeakers.
120mm Paper/Coconut-Fiber Drivers — Two newly developed bass/midrange units combine paper’s natural tonal qualities with coconut-fiber reinforcement for greater stiffness, clarity and dynamic control.
29mm Fabric-Dome Tweeter — Derived from technology developed for the CORINIUM project, the new soft-dome tweeter provides open, delicate high frequencies with wide dispersion and low distortion.
18mm RSC™ Cabinet Construction — Resonance Suppression Composite construction sandwiches a damping layer within the MDF enclosure to reduce cabinet radiation and preserve acoustic detail.
Rear Slot-Shaped Duct Port — The carefully shaped bass-reflex port augments low-frequency output while minimizing air turbulence for cleaner, less distorted bass reproduction.

Acoustic Energy describes the AE309² as a slim floorstanding speaker suitable for medium-to-large listening rooms.
The AE309² has a 6-ohm nominal impedance, 89dB sensitivity and 120-watt power-handling rating. A quality integrated amplifier, power amplifier or AV receiver capable of comfortably driving 6-ohm speakers is recommended.
The AE309² is a completely redesigned model with new paper/coconut-fibre drivers, a new fabric-dome tweeter, RSC™ constrained-layer cabinetry, revised crossover engineering and updated matte finishes. No components were carried over unchanged from the previous 300 Series.
Amplifier, speaker cable, source components, delivery and professional system setup are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
