The Acoustic Energy AE300² Bookshelf Speaker (Pair) brings technology developed during the flagship CORINIUM project into a compact loudspeaker designed for small to medium-sized listening rooms. A newly developed 120mm paper and coconut-fiber bass/midrange driver combines with a 29mm fabric-dome tweeter to deliver a smooth, natural presentation with strong clarity, precise imaging and impressive dynamic expression.
The completely redesigned cabinet uses Acoustic Energy’s 18mm constrained-layer RSC™ construction, combining MDF and bitumen to reduce cabinet radiation and unwanted coloration. A carefully shaped rear slot port reinforces low-frequency output while reducing turbulence, allowing the AE300² to deliver clean, articulate bass from a slim enclosure that works equally well on dedicated speaker stands or sturdy bookshelves.
120mm Paper/Coconut-Fiber Driver — The reinforced cone uses research derived from Acoustic Energy’s CORINIUM project to provide natural midrange tone, strong dynamic response and reduced breakup behavior.
29mm Fabric-Dome Tweeter — A neodymium ring-magnet motor, vented pole structure and contoured rear chamber help control unwanted energy, while Acoustic Energy’s WDT waveguide supports wide and consistent dispersion.
18mm RSC™ Cabinet Construction — Resonance Suppression Composite construction sandwiches bitumen within the enclosure structure to substantially reduce cabinet vibration compared with conventional MDF designs.
Low-Turbulence Rear Slot Port — The rear duct augments bass output while its carefully developed shape minimizes airflow noise and helps maintain clean low-frequency reproduction.
Yes. This listing includes two matching Acoustic Energy AE300² bookshelf speakers.
Acoustic Energy describes the AE300² as a compact stand-mount speaker suited to small and medium-sized listening rooms.
The AE300² is rated for 120 watts of power handling with a nominal 6-ohm impedance. A quality integrated amplifier or AV receiver that is comfortable driving 6-ohm speakers is recommended.
Dedicated stands are recommended for the best imaging and driver height, although Acoustic Energy also designed the speaker to work well on suitable bookshelves and furniture.
Speaker stands, amplifier, speaker cable, source components, delivery and professional setup are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
