Class AB Integrated Amplifier • 70W Per Channel into 8 Ohms • ESS ES9038Q2M DAC • PCM 768kHz & DSD512 • HDMI ARC • Bluetooth aptX • MM Phono Stage
The Audiolab 7000A Integrated Amplifier bridges the gap between the 6000 and 9000 Series with a powerful Class AB output stage, advanced digital conversion and broad source flexibility. It delivers 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 110 watts per channel into 4 ohms, while a substantial 250VA toroidal transformer and 60,000µF of reservoir capacitance provide the current reserve needed for strong dynamics and confident loudspeaker control.
The 7000A is equally capable as a digital and analog system hub, with an ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC, USB-B input, dual coaxial and dual optical digital inputs, HDMI ARC, Bluetooth 5.0, three analog line inputs and a dedicated MM phono stage. A 2.8-inch IPS display, current-feedback headphone amplifier and selectable Integrated, Pre-Power and Pre operating modes add the flexibility needed for both streamlined stereo systems and more elaborate component setups.
Complementary Feedback Class AB Topology — Audiolab's CFB architecture is engineered for excellent linearity and thermal stability, helping maintain consistent bias behavior as the output stage changes temperature.
250VA Toroidal Power Supply — A substantial toroidal transformer feeds four 15,000µF reservoir capacitors for 60,000µF of total energy storage, supporting dynamic headroom and stable loudspeaker control.
ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M Conversion — The 32-bit DAC uses HyperStream architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator technology, paired with a Class A post-DAC filter stage derived from Audiolab's higher-end designs.
2.8-Inch IPS Display — The full-color 480 × 640 display provides source information, menus, system settings and selectable digital or analog-style VU meters.
Audiolab rates the 7000A at 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 110 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with a maximum output-current capability of 11 amps.
Yes. The 7000A uses the ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC. Its coaxial and optical inputs support PCM up to 192kHz, while USB-B supports PCM up to 768kHz and DSD up to DSD512.
Yes. The 7000A includes HDMI ARC, allowing audio from a compatible television to be routed directly to the amplifier for a high-quality two-channel TV audio system.
Yes. The 7000A offers Integrated, Pre-Power and Pre operating modes, allowing its preamplifier and power-amplifier sections to be used together or incorporated into more complex system configurations.
