The M&K Sound S300 THX Ultra2 Bookshelf/Stand Mounted Speaker (Each) is a reference-grade monitor engineered to reproduce music, dialogue and cinematic effects with exceptional neutrality, dynamic range and precision. Its dual 6.5-inch coated glass-fiber woofers and vertically aligned triple-tweeter array deliver high output, focused imaging and controlled dispersion for professional monitoring and uncompromising home theater systems.
Handcrafted in Denmark, the S300 uses an advanced box-inside-a-box enclosure with constrained-layer damping to suppress cabinet vibration and lower the mechanical noise floor. Its sealed design, carefully isolated driver assemblies and high-power handling make it equally suitable for left, center or right front-channel use, whether placed on a dedicated speaker stand or securely installed within a purpose-designed theater system.
Dual 6.5-Inch Coated Glass-Fiber Woofers — The rigid, lightweight cones deliver controlled midbass, accurate vocal reproduction and exceptional transient response with reduced coloration.
Triple 1.1-Inch Soft-Dome Tweeter Array — Three vertically aligned high-frequency drivers produce detailed treble, high output and precise horizontal coverage while controlling vertical dispersion.
Constrained-Layer Double Cabinet — The box-inside-a-box enclosure joins two cabinet structures with a non-resonant damping layer to reduce panel vibration and lower the speaker’s mechanical noise floor.
Mechanically Isolated Driver Assemblies — Custom die-cast woofer and tweeter mounting brackets create a rigid connection to the front baffle while isolating the drivers from unwanted cabinet resonance.
Yes. This listing includes one M&K Sound S300 speaker. Two speakers are required for a conventional stereo pair, while three may be used for a matching left, center and right front soundstage.
Yes. The S300 is designed for left, center or right front-channel use. It should remain vertically oriented to preserve its intended dispersion and imaging characteristics.
A subwoofer is strongly recommended for full-range music and home theater playback. The S300’s sealed response is designed for accurate integration with a capable M&K Sound powered subwoofer.
M&K Sound recommends an amplifier rated between 25 and 500 watts per channel that is stable with the speaker’s nominal 4-ohm impedance.
Speaker stand, speaker wire, amplification, mounting hardware, installation tools and construction materials are sold separately.
