Speaker Box 5 S2 is characterized by its spacious and detailed sound. A 25mm silk dome tweeter delivers crystal-clear highs, the 130mm fiberglass cone outputs full-bodied and lush mids as well as punchy, tight bass. The MDF cabinet (with real-wood veneer) is both rigid and effective in terms of resonance control. Manufactured in Europe with the highest quality materials, the speaker enclosure is meticulously assembled using an eco-friendly glue that disallows sound leakage.
The recommended amplifier power rating is 10–150W RMS. Keep in mind that as for any speaker, the higher the power of an amplifier the less distortion can be found at lower volumes. Low-power amplifiers can harm less robust loudspeakers. Thankfully, Speaker Box 5 S2 are versatile such that you can expect fantastic response at 4 or 8 ohms without risk.
