Cosmetic Condition: Very Good (8/10). Shows minor signs of vintage wear, such as light surface scratches on the top chassis and minor scuffs near the rack edges consistent with age. The faceplate is clean, and the lettering is fully intact. (See photos for exact cosmetic details).
Functional Condition: Fully operational. Tested thoroughly in-house. Both channels run balanced and clean, the bias has been checked, and the iconic "Instantaneous Distortion Alert" LEDs function perfectly.
Modifications: 100% stock circuit. No aftermarket modifications have been made.
Unlike the original Mark I version, the II series features upgraded circuitry that improves thermal stability, reduces distortion at high frequencies, and eliminates the "turn-on thud" common in earlier models. Its high-current design means it doesn't flinch when speaker impedance drops, making it a perfect match for notoriously power-hungry vintage speakers like Magnepans, Infinity Emits, or classic JBLs.
