Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Turntable • 33-1/3 & 45 RPM • AT3600L VM Cartridge • Aluminum Platter • Built-In Switchable Phono Preamp • Automatic Tonearm Return
The Audio-Technica AT-LP60X Fully Automatic Turntable makes vinyl playback simple with push-button automatic operation and a compact belt-drive design. Select the record size and playback speed, press Start, and the tonearm automatically moves into position, lowers onto the record and begins playback. When the record reaches the end, the tonearm automatically lifts, returns to its rest and stops the platter.
The AT-LP60X includes Audio-Technica's AT3600L VM cartridge mounted to the integrated headshell, along with an aluminum platter and felt mat. A built-in switchable phono preamplifier provides both phono-level and line-level output, allowing the turntable to connect to traditional phono inputs as well as receivers, integrated amplifiers and powered speakers with standard line-level inputs.
Fully Automatic Tonearm Mechanism — Pressing the Start button begins platter rotation and moves the tonearm automatically. At the end of the record, the arm lifts and returns to its rest without requiring manual intervention.
DC Servo-Controlled Belt Drive — The motor drives the platter through a belt and electronically controls rotation at 33-1/3 or 45 RPM.
AT3600L Cartridge and Conical Stylus — The integrated VM cartridge uses a replaceable 0.6 mil bonded conical stylus. Audio-Technica specifies a 3.0–4.0 gram tracking-force range with 3.5 grams standard for the current replacement stylus.
Switchable Phono Equalizer — The internal RIAA phono stage provides 36 dB nominal gain and can be bypassed when connecting the turntable to equipment with its own phono input.
Yes. After the record size and speed are selected, pressing Start automatically moves and lowers the tonearm. At the end of the record, the tonearm automatically lifts, returns to its rest and stops playback.
Yes. The AT-LP60X includes a switchable phono preamplifier. Set the output to PHONO when connecting to a dedicated phono input or LINE when connecting to an AUX, line-level or powered-speaker input.
The AT3600L cartridge is integrated into the headshell and is not designed for normal cartridge replacement or alignment. The stylus itself is user-replaceable, making stylus replacement the appropriate maintenance path for this turntable.
Audio-Technica's original AT-LP60X manual lists the ATN3600L replacement stylus. Audio-Technica now offers the updated ATN3600LC as the current replacement for the AT3600L cartridge and specifically lists the AT-LP60X series as compatible.
