150 Series Architectural Loudspeaker • Dual 5.25" Glass-Fiber Woofers • 1.1" Angled Silk-Dome Tweeter • Phase-Focused Crossover • 80Hz–20kHz Response • 90dB Sensitivity • In-Ceiling or In-Wall Installation
The M&K Sound IW150A In-Ceiling Atmos Speaker (Each) brings the accuracy and dynamic performance of M&K Sound’s 150 Series to a discreet architectural design. Its angled tweeter and woofer array direct sound toward the listening area, making it an excellent choice for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D height channels.
The versatile IW150A can also be installed in a wall as an angled front-channel, surround, or music speaker. Its dual coated-glass-fiber woofers, silk-dome tweeter, and Phase-Focused crossover help create a seamless tonal match with other M&K Sound 150 Series loudspeakers.
Angled Acoustic Geometry — The fixed-angle driver layout aims sound toward the listening area instead of directly down from the ceiling, improving localization and coverage.
Dual Glass-Fiber Woofers — Two 5.25-inch coated-glass-fiber drivers provide controlled midrange reproduction, strong dynamics, and low coloration.
Coated Silk-Dome Tweeter — The low-compression 1.1-inch tweeter delivers smooth, detailed high frequencies while maintaining broad off-axis response.
Phase-Focused Crossover — M&K Sound’s crossover design optimizes driver integration in both the frequency and time domains for focused imaging.
Sealed Architectural Enclosure — The integrated enclosure provides predictable performance and helps reduce sound transmission into adjacent ceiling or wall cavities.
It is primarily designed as an immersive height speaker for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D, but it can also be used for in-wall surround, LCR, and music applications.
