The M&K Sound SUR55T Tri-pole Surround Speaker (Pair) brings M&K Sound’s proprietary surround technology to compact home cinemas and media rooms. Each speaker combines a direct-radiating front driver array with side-mounted drivers arranged in a dipole configuration, producing accurate effects placement alongside a broad and immersive surround field.
Designed as the surround-channel partner for M&K Sound’s 750 Series, the SUR55T is timbre-matched to the LCR750 and LCR750C speakers. Dedicated left- and right-channel models optimize the direction of the side-firing drivers, while the sealed cabinet and Phase-Focused crossover help preserve clarity, tonal neutrality and controlled transient response.
Tripole® Surround Configuration — A front-facing two-way speaker reproduces clearly localized effects while the dipole-oriented side drivers spread ambient information throughout the listening area.
Advanced Front Driver Array — The 5.25-inch coated glass-fiber woofer uses a rigid cone, vented voice coil and distortion-reducing aluminum ring for controlled output at demanding playback levels.
High-Frequency Prism System — The silk-coated dome tweeter works with an integrated waveguide, short horn loading and curved metal grille to improve both on-axis and off-axis response.
Phase-Focused Crossover — M&K Sound’s crossover design is optimized for transient control and smooth integration between the front-mounted woofer and tweeter.

A Tripole speaker combines a direct-radiating front section with side-mounted drivers operating in a dipole arrangement. This creates clear effects placement while spreading ambient sound across a wider listening area.
They are intended for side- or rear-surround use and are typically mounted on a wall above seated ear level. Final positioning should be based on the room layout, seating arrangement and surround format.
M&K Sound recommends an amplifier rated between 25 and 200 watts per channel. The amplifier or receiver should also be capable of driving a nominal 4-ohm speaker load.
