The Paradigm Founder 80F Floor-standing Speaker (each) is a premium tower loudspeaker designed to deliver precision, control, and dynamics in a more room-friendly footprint than a larger reference floorstander. As part of Paradigm’s Founder Series, it combines advanced driver materials, highly controlled dispersion, and a carefully engineered cabinet platform to produce a sound that is open, powerful, and refined across both music and home theater applications.
This model is built for listeners who want serious floorstanding performance, premium cabinet craftsmanship, and a presentation that remains composed and articulate even in more challenging contemporary rooms.
AL-MAC™ high-frequency driver — Paradigm’s Aluminum Magnesium Ceramic tweeter is engineered to be both light and rigid, supporting excellent responsiveness while resisting unwanted resonance and distortion.
AL-MAG™ and Carbon-X driver materials — the aluminum-magnesium driver platform and unibody bass drivers are designed to improve stiffness, reduce breakup, and preserve low-level detail across the speaker’s full operating range.
Cabinet and isolation engineering — Cascade-Fusion bracing, Advanced Shock-Mount™ technologies, and carefully designed feet work together to reduce cabinet-borne vibration, preserve imaging, and keep the drivers operating from a more stable acoustic platform.
In a carefully matched system, the Paradigm Founder 80F Floor-standing Speaker (each) delivers the speed, composure, and dynamic contrast expected from a serious modern premium tower.
It is a 4-driver, 2.5-way floorstanding speaker with a ported enclosure design.
It uses a 1" AL-MAC™ tweeter, a 6" AL-MAG™ driver, and dual 7" Carbon-X unibody bass drivers.
Paradigm uses its OSW™ waveguide and PPA™ lens technologies to better direct output toward the listening area and improve phase alignment.
It is well suited to medium and larger rooms where listeners want substantial full-range output with a more elegant, premium cabinet format.
Paradigm offers the Founder 80F in Piano Black, Black Walnut, Midnight Cherry, and Walnut finishes.
