The Arcam A5+ Integrated Amplifier with Bluetooth and Auracast combines ARCAM’s musical Class AB amplification with enhanced wireless technology and flexible connectivity for vinyl, digital sources, streaming devices and headphones. Delivering 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 75 watts per channel into 4 ohms, it provides clean, controlled power for bookshelf and moderately sized floorstanding loudspeakers.
Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound and aptX Lossless enables high-quality wireless playback from compatible devices, while Auracast can broadcast audio to multiple compatible headphones or speakers without conventional one-to-one pairing. The A5+ also includes an ESS ES9018K2M DAC, high-resolution coaxial and optical inputs, three analog line inputs, a carefully tuned moving-magnet phono stage and a variable preamplifier output.
Enhanced Power-Supply Design — The updated internal power supply is engineered to provide stable current delivery and low-noise operation, helping the amplifier retain clarity and control during dynamic musical passages.
Two-Way Bluetooth Connectivity — The A5+ can receive music from compatible wireless source devices and transmit audio to compatible Bluetooth headphones for private listening.
ESS ES9018K2M Digital Conversion — ARCAM’s digital section converts coaxial and optical sources with support for common sampling rates through 192kHz and both 16-bit and 24-bit audio.
Aluminum Radia Construction — Solid aluminum control dials and aluminum front, top, side and rear panels give the amplifier a refined appearance while contributing to a rigid, well-damped chassis.
Auracast is a Bluetooth LE Audio broadcast technology. It allows the A5+ to share audio with multiple compatible Auracast headphones or speakers rather than maintaining only one conventional Bluetooth connection.
Yes. Its Bluetooth system supports both receiving and transmitting audio, so compatible wireless headphones can be used for private listening. A wired front-panel headphone output is also provided.
Yes. The dedicated phono input is designed for moving-magnet cartridges. Turntables equipped with moving-coil cartridges require a compatible external phono preamplifier or step-up device.
Yes. The variable stereo preamplifier output can feed a compatible external power amplifier or powered subwoofer. Subwoofer crossover and level controls must be configured on the connected subwoofer.
Loudspeakers, turntable, source components, digital cables, analog interconnects, speaker cables, headphones and powered subwoofer are sold separately.
