FAQ — A8 APEX Integrated Amplifier
How does the A8 APEX fit into the APEX amplifier range?
The Advance Paris A8 APEX Integrated Amplifier serves as the compact power model in the APEX hybrid line, offering 110W per channel compared to the higher-output A10 APEX (130W) and flagship dual-mono A12 APEX (190W).
What is the benefit of the High Bias switch?
When High Bias is enabled, the amplifier operates in pure Class A mode for the first few watts, providing smoother highs and sweeter midranges during normal listening levels before automatically transitioning to Class AB power.
Can I connect my TV directly to the A8 APEX?
Yes. The unit features an HDMI ARC port that passes digital audio directly from your TV while allowing volume adjustments using your TV remote control.
Does it support wireless Bluetooth audio streaming?
Yes. The rear panel includes a dedicated digital port designed for optional Advance Paris Bluetooth receiver modules (such as the X-FTB01 or X-FTB02) for high-definition wireless streaming.
