I can’t think of a better entry level receiver with built-in DAC to get started in the hobby of Hi-Fi
Cambridge Audio receivers have that consummate British sonic signature, warmth, lushness and musicality. They provide plenty of power and typically have all the analog connections you’ll need. The brushed aluminum front plate projects an understated elegance and high level of build quality The beefy toroidal transformer inside the AXR100’s class A/B amplifier produces 100 watts per channel, plenty to juice to drive most any speakers you like.
Analog connections
This receiver is built with analog music lovers in mind. There’s a dedicated phono stage for connecting a turntable with moving magnet cartridge, and three more RCA inputs for your other components. If you want to use your mobile device as a source, a 3.5mm aux input is conveniently located on the front panel. And built-in Bluetooth® makes it easy to stream music wirelessly from a compatible phone, tablet, or laptop.
The AXR100 features a stereo “record out” output on the back panel, and a mono RCA output lets you hook up a powered subwoofer to provide some extra punch. Two sets of binding posts give you the flexibility to set up A and B speaker pairs, and a front-panel selector makes switching between them easy.

Since it took a week of researching the internet for the receiver because it was sold out at many sites, I am excited to get it hooked up and playing. Waiting for new speaker before I can use the receiver. Audio lab did excellent job of shipping on time. Thanks to their staff.

Audiolab carefully packed this item and shipped it FAST.
Its 500$ and punches way above its price. It’s not a 5000$ amp don’t expect it to be.
The remote is the only cheap felling part (it’s only a 500$ amp…)
Mine came with an updated casing pattern on top (reminds me of the CX series..)
Furthermore, mine does NOT have the fan issue others are reporting online. You can hear it at times after standing right next to the receiver after loud listening sessions but it quiets down as you turn the volume down to normal levels.
VERY SATISFIED!
I will shop here again A++++++

This is a powerhouse, beautiful receiver. The design is sleek and minimalistic, but easy to use. It’s absolutely gorgeous sounding and looking. Very intuitive and easy to use, with simple connections.
Only beef is some pictures of it make it appear the top is also silver but it’s black.
But man, it is pure joy running music through this beast.
